Account Manager

Our client, an insurance and risk management firm, is seeking an Account Manager to join its team in Randolph, MA. The Account Manager will be responsible for a book of P&C Commercial Lines accounts. In this job, you will work extensively with clients, producers, and underwriters.

Primary Responsibilities of an Account Manager:

  • Complete servicing of a commercial book of business, including marketing, renewal negotiation, risk analysis, rating, and more
  • Make recommendations for coverage and premium options based on current policies
  • Address and reconcile discrepancies in coverages
  • Contribute to business development and retention by marketing insurance products
  • Prepare and present business proposals to clients
  • Generate reports for management
  • Perform bookkeeping duties (e.g.; account receivables, not-paid-not-billed lists, etc.)

A successful Account Manager will have:

  • 2+ years of P&C Commercial Insurance experience on the brokerage side
  • Understanding of commercial insurance markets for new/renewal business
  • Valid MA P&C brokers’ license
  • Knowledge of AMS 360 or WorkSmart is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree
