Our client, a rapidly growing insurance brokerage and risk management firm, is seeking a HR Recruiter to join their Human Resources team in New York City.  This role will report to the Head of Recruiting, and ideally have an insurance, brokerage, or financial services recruiting background.

  • Support the Head of Recruiting with development and execution of the recruitment plan
  • Responsible for recruiting for all level roles within the Americas
  • Work with hiring managers on gathering requirements
  • Put together job descriptions
  • Conduct research on LinkedIn recruiter and other networking tools to find the best candidates
  • Post positions on various networking job sites
  • Use social and professional networking sites to source strong candidates
  • Maintain applicant tracking and interview data liaising with the hiring manager and others involved in the recruitment process
  • Constantly be developing a pool of candidates in advance of need
  • Support the Head of Recruiting on various recruiting projects


  • 3+ years of experience recruiting in the Financial Services industry
  • Ideally have brokerage or insurance recruiting experience
  • Excellent researcher and LinkedIn recruiter user
  • Experience managing 20+ openings at the junior to mid-level
  • Strong Excel skills and other MS Office tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
