Senior Account Executive - Fine Arts

Our client, an insurance and risk management firm, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join its team in NYC. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for a book of business in the Fine Arts space. In this job you will be maintaining client relationships on all assigned accounts and developing new ones.  You will also be servicing larger and more complex accounts.

Primary Responsibilities of a Senior Account Executive:

  • Manage renewals, endorsements, invoicing, and Schedules and Certificates for assigned book of business
  • Perform coverage analysis: notify client of coverage gaps, provide client with quotation for additional coverages, and document our proposal and client’s acceptance or declination in agency management system
  • Cross-Sell other lines of coverage
  • Maintain renewal book
  • Work with Claims Department to provide assistance with difficult claims with respect to policy language, recommendation of adjuster, etc.
  • Remarket existing accounts as client requests or market environment warrants
  • Network at trade/industry functions, including gallery openings, trade luncheons, and conventions/fairs
  • Act as backup to all accounts of Account Executive and Team Leader as necessary
  • Stay abreast and alert Team Leader of market changes

A successful Senior Account Executive will have:

  • 5-10 years’ commercial brokerage experience, Fine Arts preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • NY P&C brokers’ license
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
